Releasing blocking emotions!

Blocking emotions are emotions such as fear, worry, sadness, anger, pretending, that you constantly struggle with. It is a well-known fact that blocking emotions are at the root of our health problems. The body is very intelligent. Everything you have ever experienced is stored in the body, down to the cells.

In my practice, I repeatedly come to the conclusion that these blocking emotions need to be addressed. After all, as long as you have not processed certain emotions, you will continue to suffer from them, which prevents the energy from flowing properly. Certain situations will keep appearing on your path, accompanied by the necessary pain and annoyances. It blocks your energy and this leads to physical or psychological complaints. The moment you do something about it, life will become easier for you.

Blocking emotions / energy can be:

  • Fear,
  • Worries
  • Anger, rage, irritation
  • Sadness
  • Pretending

Pretending here means: presenting yourself differently than you are.
This does not make you happy, it affects your self-confidence, and it costs
a lot of energy.

Examples of the emotion Sadness:

Loss of a friendship or a loved one

Sadness over what you experienced as a child. You are not always aware of this. To survive, people have often repressed this kind of experience, which means some of it is stored deep in the body.

In order to be able to transform sorrow, you must first dare to feel it. Not just be brave for the outside world, at all costs. You must first feel and face emotions in order to eventually be able to let them go. So first feel the emotion, look at what it evokes, where it comes from, the recognition, and what it does to you. The intention is not to remain stuck in the emotion or to lose yourself in it.

The most difficult, it seems to me, is losing your child or your partner. Just imagine. The idea alone is already unbearable.

The grief does not go away, after all the loss remains, but the grief can become more bearable with the help of the therapies below and this way you can move forward with your life again.

Releasing Blocking Emotions

You can work on Sadness or another Emotion with:

Choose which treatment suits you best. If you undergo the treatments alongside each other, they will reinforce one another.

The mind is always faster than the body. This means that when you have emotionally processed something, the body still has to release it afterwards. So first awareness and then letting go.

You have to see things like an onion. You reach deeper and deeper layers and make progress step by step. But the body needs time and cannot process too much at once. Otherwise, you will get sick.
